It has been a while since music lovers had the three biggest artistes in Ghana, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy on the same stage.
But come Saturday, May 11, 2019, fans would have these three sharing the same in a pre-Vodafone Ghana Music Awards concert. The concert dubbed the Experience Concert is scheduled to come of at the Independence Square. Apart from Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, other top artistes including Samini, Adina, and Kwesi Arthur and Tinny will be performing. Also on the bill for the night is veteran highlife singer, Adane Best, female dancehall artiste AK Songstress and gospel singers Empress Gifty and Akese Brempong. This concert, YEN.com.gh understands, forms part of the tall list of activities Charter House, organisers of the VGMAs have lined up as we countdown to the May 18 awards night which happens to be the 20th anniversary of the VGMAs. Earlier in the year on Saturday, April 6, Charter House held a successful nominees jam in Kumasi with Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Flowking Stone and other top stars performing. Admission to the ‘Experience Concert’ is free and it will also be live on Media General’s TV3.
